“Shalom’s gutsy voice transports you to another time.”

– Drum Media

With over 30 years of experience, Shalom is a singer/songwriter who has traversed blues, roots, rock, gospel and jazz. She began as a vocalist for a big band before producing an EP with renowned drummer John Morrison. She then formed a blues and jazz quintet, performing at clubs and festivals for three years. Shalom produced Songs of the Leading Ladies, which toured NSW theatres, before writing her own music and forming the blues and roots band Tortured Willow. Collaborating with longtime friend Jordan Roach, their “fiery” sound gained traction on the prestigious radio station JJJ Unearthed. They recorded a critically acclaimed album with producer Syd Green, and performed at some of Australia’s top rock venues such as The Metro Theatre and The Factory Theatre.
